Welcome to Celtic Quilting in Newcastle Emlyn and now at our second branch in Pontardulais, Swansea.
Celtic Quilting is in the picturesque market town of Newcastle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire, close to its borders with Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion (Cardiganshire). This is a popular tourist area with fantastic scenery near the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Park. We carry a wide range of patchwork fabrics, wadding, threads for sewing and quilting, books, patterns, quilting templates and accessories. We also stock a complete range of DMC stranded cotton for cross stitch and embroidery. We are also proud to present a new range of threads from Polstitches Designs. Above the shop is a spacious workroom with large tables, plenty of places to plug in your sewing machines, irons and ironing boards, even a light box and photocopiers. The shop also has sewing machines for use by customers. Tea and coffee is freely available.
Newcastle Emlyn is easy to find from the end of the M4 Motorway and the surrounding towns of Carmarthen, St Clears, Tenby, Narberth, Haverfordwest, Fishguard, Lampeter and Cardigan. The shop itself is at the end of the main street next to the garden centre. |

We run many workshops and courses, given by nationally known figures, local craftspeople and our own experienced staff. These range from beginners classes, special techniques and patterns, to crafts such as beadwork, dyeing, felt making and tassels.
